Veteran’s enjoy luncheon

Area veteran’s enjoyed a luncheon provided by the Louisa Chapter DAR on Monday, November 11, 2019. The menu included baked spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and an assortment of desserts.
The Veteran’s also received a gift bag which contained a pocket calendar, ink pen and a miniature flag.
Around twenty members volunteered to bring food, beverages, paper products and helped with kitchen duty. Also the members served the Veteran’s at the table and a cart filled with desserts was taken to each table so they could choose their preference.
All help was deeply appreciated by our Louisa Chapter of DAR.
