Evalena Cantrell, 78, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2019.

Evalena was born August 28, 1941 in Louisa, KY to the late Woodrow Wilson and Irene (Moore) Hayes. She was a member of Spencer Free Will Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Evalena loved to cook, bake, crochet and make quilts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Cantrell; son Timothy Charles Cantrell; and sister Judith Marcum.

Survivors include her children Gary (Johnna Lee) Cantrell and Gloria Wilks; daughter in law Sandy Raye Cantrell; grandchildren Charlie Wilks, Leigh Ann Hicks, Teddy Austin Wilks, Armenda Cantrell, Megan Pilkington, Erin Cantrell, and Timothy Cantrell, Jr.; and nephew Curtis Marcum.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Cantrell and her family.
