Summit, Ky. — The 10U Lawrence Co. Lady Dawgs went undefeated in the Boyd Co. Fast pitch League this fall with a 12-0 record.

LC 10U Coach Martin Davis
COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I believe I speak on behalf of all four coaches when I say, these 12 girls have been a joy to coach this Fall and we hate to see the season end. They have put in the work,  they compete hard, they love one another and the game of softball.  So naturally, they have a ton of FUN each time we step onto a field!”

“… We were the younger/smaller team vs every opponent we faced.  8 of our 12 girls played 8U this season, yet we put them in the 10U division to give them stiffer challenge. Our girls were up for the challenge! These girls have a strong desire to win, they’re coachable kids, and they love to compete.”

“… Our Lawrence County Babe Ruth youth softball league, has grown exponentially over the last few years,  in numbers and competitiveness.  We had both 10U & 8U All-Star teams win District titles this summer.  Then we made some noise at state, finishing in the top 4. This coming in our first year ever of competing in the 10U & 8U state competition.”

The future is very bright for Lawrence County Fast-pitch Softball!!

We considered it a pleasure to be a part of this team and to be coached by these coaches. These girls have been a pleasure to watch this fall season. They gave 110% each game no matter the challengers. They show no mercy but they won with great character and represented LC very well! WATCH OUT FOR THESE GIRLS IN THE FUTURE OF FAST PITCH.
