Sheriff Rick Thompson stated the last night the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit and Road Patrol Deputies arrested a man on parole for drug offenses during an investigation.
Cortez Jackson AKA Quintez Kilgore, formerly of Michigan, Is charged with being felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
The Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit located a 40 caliber handgun tucked under the seat at Cortez’s feet.
