Lawrence Co. Head Coach Heath Webb

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Senior Night was a special night celebrating our 4 seniors. Our senior parents did a great job of setting up display boards with pictures with lots of memories. We were able to come out and start quickly against Pikeville and never looked back. We were able to get Ally Moore a chance to play the field and score her first ever HS goal. The entire team played great in the 11-0 win.”

“… Thursday against East Carter was a much tougher game. Sarah Lycans came out and scored 2 1st half goals assisted by Ellie Webb and Shelby Borders. East scored at about 18min into the second half making the game a lot closer than we wanted but we were able to grind out a good win behind a strong defense and goalkeeping play.”

“… Saturday was our double header day with Shelby Valley due to a makeup game. We came out scoring at a very high rate in both games getting everyone who was eligible a goal.”

“… We finish off the regular season with two road games against Prestonsburg and Rowan Co. Both of these are very good complete teams and will help get us ready for our upcoming district and region tournaments.”
