Rustic Ravines, a cabin and resort located in Genoa, Wayne County, WV is owned and operated by Joe Buffo, Wayne Economic Builder of the year. He has done it again and opened the biggest zipline in WV.
“THE BIG ZIPPER” a 1/2 mile long zipline 300 to 400 feet in the air with speeds up to 65 miles an hour. As you start your adventure you are guided by professionally trained employees who secure you in, go over safety details before launching you off the platform to sore through the air over the beautiful mountain scenery.
At the other ending platform safety professionals are there to guide you in and help you off the zipline to the platform where a shuttle awaits to take you back to the Welcome Center at the top of the hill.
One employee said, “This Attraction is very popular, people from all over are coming to ride from celebrities to an 88 yr. old woman who said she did it for bragging rights and the ride is so popular a “2nd BIG ZIPPER” is planned so people can race one another”.
First time rider Evan Rawlings said, “I loved it and just followed the instructions I was given and had an absolutely great adventure. I’d recommend to everyone and I plan to come back”.
The Big Zipper prices start at $39 for 1 ride, $59 for 2 rides, $79 for 3 rides and all day pass is $99. You must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 80-250 pounds.
