Lawrence Co. Head Coach Alan Short

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… They are two extremely talented players and needed a spark and Baden ( Gillispie ) along with Brody ( Cantrell ) provided it. I’m sure glad they are both on my team.”

“… Not to take anything away from Boyd Co. but I think it was more us then it was them in the first half. We got behind the sticks with stupid penalties and missed alignments really hurt us.”

“… Coach Ferguson does a great job with Boyd Co. and he has his guys moving in the right direction. They are much improved.”

“… Coach Reeves does a great job with our defense, he demands excellence and I think they will continue to get better throughout the year.”

Tom Scott Memorial Bowl Game MVP Brody Cantrell

PLAYER’S COMMENTS

“… When I went out in the first half my guys kept fighting and knew I had to get back out there and fight with them. We made some adjustments on both sides of the ball at halftime and it showed. Our defense just kept executing. Baden is nasty out there and our offensive line was huge as well. It was a hard fought game Boyd Co. has a nice team, they will do well this season.”
