LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST – AUGUST 30-SEPTEMBER 6, 2019

In the past just over 7 & 1/3 days period from 3:00 A.M. August 30, 2019, thru to 11:15 A.M. September 6, 2019; there were at least 83 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 83, 16 of those arrested were from Lawrence County

No Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky counties. However, a former Lawrence County resident was picked up in Magoffin County, Ky. on a bench warrant from Lawrence County. Plus we missed two arrests in Lawrence County that we did not report in the last arrest list, raising the tally in that report from 17 to 19.

That is in comparison to the previous  just over 8 & 1/3 days period of 5:05 P.M. August 21, 2019, thru 3:00 A.M. August 30, 2019; there were at least 78 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 78, 19 of those arrested were from Lawrence County (9 of whom were arrested in a 7 hour period). Another 7 Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky counties. Plus 2 Fort Gay, West Virginia residents were arrested in Kentucky counties in the same period of time.

The number of inmates that were lodged at the BSRDC in Paintsville is 205 as of 12:00 P.M., Friday, September 6, 2019.

The names and criminal charges of those 16 arrested in Lawrence County, as well as the former Lawrence County resident was picked up in Magoffin County, Ky. on the bench warrant from Lawrence County, and the two missed arrests in Lawrence County that we did not report in the last arrest list, are the following:

Anthony Wade Mullins, 52, of Louisa, was arrested on August 30,2019, at 5:51 P.M.,by Sheriff Chuck Jackson, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:

• INCEST – FORCIBLE COMPULSION/INCAPABLE OF CONSENT OR UNDER/18 YEARS OF AGE,

• PROMOTING A SEXUAL PERFORMANCE BY A MINOR (UNDER/18),

• SEXUAL ABUSE, 1ST DEGREE.

Jonathan C. Hall, 26, of Louisa, was arrested on August 30, 2019, at 5:51 P.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:

• BAIL JUMPING 1ST DEGREE,

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (< 10 D.U.DRUG UNSPECIFIED SCHEDULED 1 & 2),

• RESISTING ARREST,

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

Lawrence Tyler McCoy, was taken into custody on August 30, 2019 at 6:00 P.M.,by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER; involving offenses and charges out of Lawrence County and Martin County.

 

Kelly Hampton, 26, of Louisa, was arrested on August 31, 2019, at 2:35 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Travis E. Lay, 22, of Louisa, was arrested on August 31,2019, at 2:39 P.M.,by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE.

 

Gregory Marcum, 60, of Louisa, was arrested on August 31, 2019, at 7:42 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,and was charged with:

• LEAVING SCENE OF ACCIDENT-FAILURE TO RENDER AID OR ASSISTANCE,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 3RD OFFENSE,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE.

Travis Vires, 24, of West Van Lear, Kentucky; was arrested on August 31, 2019, at 11:50 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE.

Jeremy Scott Williams, 26, of Kermit, West Virginia; was arrested on September 1, 2019, at 5:18 P.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED.

 

Del Ray Griffith, 45, of Adams, Kentucky; was arrested on September 1, 2019, at 10:51 P.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES.

Jessica Graham, 37, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on September 1, 2019, at 11:07 P.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• LEAVING SCENE OF ACCIDENT-FAILURE TO RENDER AID OR ASSISTANCE.

 

Tanner Wayne Rasnake, 18, of Louisa, was arrested on September 2, 2019, at 12:47 A.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED.


Wendy Haddix, 44, of Jackson, Kentucky; was arrested on September 2, 2019, at 1:00 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES.

Donald Eric Combs, 38, of Jackson, Kentucky; was arrested on September 2, 2019, at 1:00 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.

 

Winifred S. Scott, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on September 5, 2019, at 12:18 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

 

Michael L. Maynard, 38, of Louisa was arrested on September 5, 2019, at 12:37 A.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO.

Jeremy Vanover Jr., 42, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; was arrested on September 6, 2019, at 11:11 A.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE),

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Christopher Garr Maynard, 42, of Pilgrim, Kentucky; was arrested on August 29, 2019, at 11:19 P.M., by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department,and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),

• MENACING, • PAROLE VIOLATION (FOR TECHNICAL VIOLATION),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

 

Richard Lindsey Love, 25, of Louisa, Kentucky; was arrested on August 29, 2019, at 7:30 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• SPEEDING 13 MPH OVER LIMIT,

• DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE.

Zandol D. Parrigan, 47, of Banner. Kentucky; was arrested in Magoffin County, on September 3, 2019 at 10:37 P.M.,by a deputy of the Magoffin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT; involving a court bench warrant out of Lawrence County.
