LC QB BADEN GILLESPIE had a huge night against P-Burg with four TD’s in the first half.

After Alex Strickland intercepted a Blackcat pass attempt at the five yard line Gillispie galloped 95 yards to pay dirt and Lycans added the PAT to make it 21-0 with 3:53 left in the first period.

Lawrence Co. Head Coach Alan Short

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… It was good to get in the win column. Thought we went up there and did what we were supposed to do. We played a bunch of kids and came out injury free.”

“… We did a lot of good things on both sides of the football. Hopefully we can keep things going next week at Boyd Co.

“ Really happy for Brayden Hensley glad to see him scoop and score.”

Lawrence Co. Quarterback Baden Gillispie

PLAYER’S COMMENT

“… I think it was a great team win. Our line did great, even with us not having our starting center Kyle Davis who was out to injury.  Everyone got on their blocks and keys and that’s what led us to such a big win. They allowed for me to score and I am glad to have them on my team. Great team victory.”
