11 ARRESTED IN A WEEK IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, THEN 7 ARRESTED WITHIN 8 HOURS THURSDAY EVENING.

JAIL IN PAINTSVILLE LETS OUT 16 INMATES IN FOUR HOURS (7 PERCENT) OF INMATE COUNT, ON FRIDAY MORNING

In the past just over 8 & 1/3 days period of 5:05 P.M. August 21, 2019, thru to 3:00 A.M. August 30, 2019; there were at least 76 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 76, 17 of those arrested were from Lawrence County

Another 7 Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky counties. Plus 2 Fort Gay,West Virginia residents were arrested in Kentucky counties in the same period of time.

That is in comparison to the previous past 7 & 3/4 days period of 12:01 A.M. August 16, 2019, thru to 5:05 P.M. August 21, 2019; there were at least 57 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 57, 8 of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Another Lawrence County resident was arrested in Pike County, Ky.,. Plus one Lawrence County resident was arrested in Adams County, Ohio

The number of inmates currently lodged at the BSRDC in Paintsville is 216 as of 6 A.M., Friday,August 30, 2019. By 10 A.M., 16 inmates were let out after paying the bail, dropping the number to 200. The maximum designated holding capacity of the BSRDC is 150 according to board chairman Daniel Castle.

The names and criminal charges of those arrested in Lawrence County, as well as 7 Lawrence County and 2 Fort Gay residents arrested in other Kentucky counties are the following:

 

Brianna Paige Osborne, 26, of Louisa, was arrested on August 22, 2019, at 12:41 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

Rhea Anna Mann, 37 of Louisa, was taken into custody on August 23, 2019 at 1:08 P.M.,by officer Billy Slone of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Bobbie Clay, 20, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; was arrested on August 23,2019, at 1:08 P.M., by sergeant Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE)-[2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS],

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

James Luther Cook, 34, of Louisa was arrested on August 23, 2019, at 4:42 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• FAILURE TO SURRENDER REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE.

Joseph L. McKinster, 39, of Louisa was arrested on August 25, 2019, at 2:03 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Bruce Bowen Jr., 37, of Louisa, was arrested on August 25, 2019, at 9:01 P.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome, of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES.

Michael L. Maynard, 38, of Louisa was arrested on August 26, 2019, at 11:15 A.M., by deputy Chase Kirk, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO,

• ROBBERY, 2ND DEGREE

Travis E. Lay, 22, of Louisa, was arrested on August 28,2019,at 1:34 P.M.,by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS UNDER/$500.

Anthony R. Chapman, 50, of Louisa, was arrested on August 28, 2019, at 1:38 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with, via a grand jury indictment:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $10,000 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$1,000,000.

Nicholas Andrew May, 34, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on August 28, 2019,at 11:22 P.M., by Constable Daniel Castle, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 3, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT,

• ASSAULT,2ND DEGREE – POLICE OFFICER,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (ON FOOT),

• RESISTING ARREST,

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/ POSSESS.

 

Lashae N. Hudnall, 34, of Louisa, was arrested on August 29, 2019, at 3:09 P.M., by Chief Greg Fugitt, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $10,000 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$1,000,000.

Melinda Daniel Johnson, 33, of Crum, West Virginia; was arrested on August 29, 2019, at 11:54 P.M., by sergeant Mason Keefer, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE /SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS,

• BOOSTER SEAT VIOLATIONS,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNLAWFUL/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 1ST OFFENSE,

•OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE.

Vivian J. Sargent, 55, of Washington Court House, Ohio; was arrested on August 30, 2019, at 1:49 A.M. by deputy Michael Housinger, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

Willard Fraley, 33, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on August 30, 2019,at 1:56 A.M. by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE – 1ST OFFENSE.

 

Rebecca Talmage, 32, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on August 30, 2019, at 2:17 A.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

Tyler Push, 31, of Mars Hill, North Carolina; was arrested on August 30, 2019, at 2:28 A.M., by Constable Daniel Castle, of the Lawrence County Constable Office-District 4, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• FAILURE TO NOTIFY ADDRESS CHANGE TO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.

 

Dola Harry Pace, 61, of Albiob, Michigan; was arrested on August 30, 2019, at 2:34 A.M.,by deputy Cory Cook, of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE.

Christina Moore, 33, of Lomansville, Kentucky; was arrested in Johnson County, Ky., on August 21, 2019, at 11:16 P.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE (CHILD ABUSE).

James Lewis Dean Jr., 48, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was taken into custody in Boyd County, Ky., on August 22, 2019, at 7:43 A.M., by a deputy of the Boyd County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

James Dean Jr. bail bond was set at $348 full cash only.

 

Richard Lindsey Love, 25, of Louisa, Kentucky; was taken into custody in Carter County, Ky., on August 23, 2019, at 6:31 P.M., by a deputy of the Carter County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence:

•  In connection July 8, 2019 arrest by the Grayson Police Department on the charges of:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD,

• NO OTHER STATE REGISTRATION RECEIPT.

Mark Anthony Jude, 31, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County, Ky., on August 24, 2019, at 7:04 P.M., by a deputy of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR.

Anthony S. Grigsby, 41, of Louisa, was arrested in Leslie County, Ky., on August 25, 2019, at 12:52 A.M., by an officer of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, and was charged with:

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST \& 2ND OFFENSE).

Joseph Conrad Burgess, 52, of Louisa, was arrested in Johnson County, Ky., on August 25, 2019, at 12:26 P.M., by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT

 


Jeffery W. Cooper, 30, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County, Ky., on August 27, 2019, at 8:30 P.M., by deputy Lafferty, of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.

Eric C. Hayes, 42, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County, Ky., on August 27, 2019, at 10:40 P.M., by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police-Post 9-Pikeville, Ky., and was charged with:

• ONE HEADLIGHT,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS,

• POSS OF OPEN ALCOHOL BEVERAGE CONTAINER IN MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITED,

• REGULATION & TITLE REQUIREMENTS VEHICLE NOT OPERABLE ON HIGHWAY,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SEC, 1ST OFFENSE,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT,

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD.
