Lawrence Co. Head Coach Scott Johnson

COACH’S COMMENTS

“ It was a tough match against the Region 16 champs from last season. Our defense really stepped up to keep them out of the net and Trenton Adkins made some great saves as keeper. That team beat us 7-2 last year, so we have made some progress against a program with a lot of experience.”

Boyd Co. scored late in the game to pick up the road victory as the Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season. Ellie Webb scored the lone goal with the assist going to Autumn Maynard.

Senior #12 Hayleah Fletcher battling #11 Morgan Ray of Boyd Co. Thursday night.

Lawrence Co. will travel to Ona, West Virginia and face an always tough Cabell Midland team.

Lawrence Co. Head Coach Heath Webb

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… We didn’t play very good at all. We will be fine… just can’t let this get our heads down. Cabell Midland is very good, one of the biggest schools in West Virginia is up next for us. This may be good for us in the long run.”
