This is insane! Just imagine the money taken from banks that never gets noticed & just becomes a “miscalculation in funds” crazy when you think of it! Awesome article babe! I’m proud of you!

She must have had inside help. I was an auditor at a small savings and loan and we caught people with even tiny amounts. The worse i ever saw were iou notes in a tellers drawer. Lol

Something about this doesn’t seem right. I know it says she has admitted guilt, however, when I worked for a bank, our cash drawer had to balance every single day and if it didn’t, our supervisor counted things for us and went through the paperwork over and over to see where the mistake occurred and often it was caught at that point, however if not – the overage or loss was written up and if we would have had an ongoing occurrence we would not have still been employed –so someone who was supposed to be overseeing things apparently dropped the ball big time, else this could not have happened again and again on an ongoing basis.

Something’s fishy. This doesn’t add up.

This just doesn’t add up! Working in retail if any of the cashiers drawer were short if as 5 to 10 dollars we went thu everything to find the error and if we couldn’t it was a write up and if it continue to happen 3 write ups and they no longer were employed and anything over 50 was automatically terminated.

You better believe something smells fishy. No reasonable bank would allow a teller to come up short but 1 or 2 times and the 3rd your fired. She is very sweet. The president of that bank back awhile back did far worse than that. She won’t go to prison, watch and see.
