Kingsport, Tn — Two Lawrence Co. youngsters, Boedy Maynard and Braxton Davis helped the Tri State Titans capture the 11U USSSA “AA” World Series this past weekend with a 4-1 record at Domtar Park and Brickyard Park.

On July 6th the Titans opened up pool play against #3 Seed Tribe from Kingsport with a 15-5 victory.

The second game on the 6th was against #2 seed Stateliners from Bristol with Braxton Davis on the bump as the Titans walked away with a 9-2 victory.

In the Semifinals on July 7th the Titans beat Diamond Black out of Knoxville 4-2 to advance to the Championship game were they would have to be beaten twice.

In the Championship game the Titans would fall to the Mid-America Prospects from Central Kentucky 9-7.

In the Championship game the Titans got revenge over the Mid-America Prospects with a 4-2 victory to capture the Title.

The Tri State Titans consists of players from local leagues, including: Lawrence Co, Catlettsburg, Vinson, C-K, Huntington and Chesapeake.
