Lawrence Co. Boys Tennis Head Coach Cassandra Webb

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Our boys have worked hard and the results show. Senior Noah Fairchild has played number one for us all year and done a tremendous job as a top singles player. Fairchild was semifinalist in the region and played great.”

“…Senior Lincoln Rose has played many years but this year knocked off the number 4 seed in the regional tournament which gave us a big win to win the team title.
“…Senior Hunter Goble and Herbie Parks had never played on the tennis team until this season and they have improved drastically since early season and upset the number 2 seed for a huge win in the regional tournament.
“…Brock Kessinger and S.J. Lycans have led the boys team this year with huge wins in every region game and remain undefeated as the doubles champions. They’ve dominated doubles play in the 15th and have many years left to play.”

Lawrence Co. Girls Tennis Head Coach Cindy Hay

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Our girls have worked very hard and have not lost a team match this season while competing against strong competitors like Russell, Montgomery Co, Rowan Co, Morgan Co, Belfry, Johnson Central to name a few. I am very proud of all these kids they worked hard in and out of season this year and it has paid off!!”

“ Senior Katelyn Pauley has played number one singles the whole season and has competed strong! Katelyn never quits and gives 100%, she was seeded number 3 in Region this year and finished in top 4 losing in the semifinals.

“…Junior Jessalyn Osborn is our other singles player who also gives 100% when she steps on the court! Jessalyn worked hard to make it to final four this year by knocking out the 4 seed seed.
“…Maci Pollock and Sheree Hay both seniors are one of my doubles teams that have competed all season against 1st and 2nd doubles teams to earn their number 3 seed going into region. They have only lost to the team they lost to in the final four. Maci and Sheree play so well together what one can’t get to it the other can!! They finished also in the final four.
“…The Sisters Junior Eden Webb, and Freshman Adrian Webb are my other doubles team that have competed and finished strong all season they have knocked out all 1st teams during season going undefeated and showed how strong they are as a team in the championship match winning girls doubles !! Very proud of how strong they finished can’t wait to see how all our kids compete in state !!!
“…Cassandra and I are very proud of all our players and want to wish both the boys and girls good luck in state! “
