Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that (3) people have been arrested on warrants from three separate investigations conducted by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit.

Sheriff Thompson stated that the US Marshals Cuffed Task Force and WV State Police arrested Dianna ‘Dee’ Clay, of Wayne, for Possession with Intent to Deliver- Heroin. Dianna was stopped by the WCSD DEU in the Wayne area and they seized pills and Marijuana. During the search a distribution quantity of Heroin was seized that Dianna had hid in her bra.

Sheriff Thompson stated that the US Marshals Cuffed Task Force arrested Clarence Garn, of Big Hurricane Creek – Fort Gay. The WCSD DEU responded to drug activity on Big Hurricane Creek and found a vehicle parked in the road with several males standing by it. The WCSD DEU made contact with the men and Clarence turned around and attempted to walk away. Clarence was ordered to turn around and when he did he had an open knife in his hand. Clarence complied with the WCSD DEU commands and dropped the knife. During the stop Clarence threw a distribution quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine under the vehicle.

Clarence is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver and Pseudoephedrine Altered.

During the third investigation the WCSD DEU made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Fort Gay area and located a large quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine in his underwear. The WCSD DEU located Crystal Methamphetamine that the driver, Samantha Richards of Louisa, had hid in her bra. The Sheriff’s Department arrested Samantha on a warrant for Pseudoephedrine Altered. The second suspect is being sought after by the US Marshals Cuffed Task Force. Fort Gay Police Dept assisted on the stop.

I would like to know why the family of Diana Clay are saying this is old news
    Over a month ago
Why the news is smearing her name from a traffic stop a month ago
    That she was not arrested
    She only received a citation

  2. Why is the family of Diana Clay saying these allegations are incorrect that this incident happened one month ago says:

So did the inmate do the drugs before going to jail or get them brought in? This story makes no sense!
