Mr. Jimmie Spencer, 60, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 1, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

He was born June 30, 1958 in Lawrence County KY to Kenneth Ray Spencer, who is deceased, and Carol Jean (Fraley) Spencer who survives. 

Additional survivors include his wife Carolyn Ann (Smith) Spencer; Children Darrell Kenneth (Lisa) Spencer, Samantha Ann (Wayne) Nelson, Jimmy Ray (Chrystal) Spencer, Maggie Carol (Edward) Summers, Laura (Charlie) Defoe, and William Joseph Spencer; 15 grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Albert Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. 

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Spencer.
