Note from Wade: THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF JANUARY I DID NOT GET TO REPORT DUE TO MY BACK HAVING ME DOWN AS I COULD NOT SIT FOR ONLY EVEN A FEW MINUTES DUE TO PAIN STIFFNESS. THERE WERE AROUND 3 DOZEN ARRESTS TOTAL IN FIRST 2 WEEKS OF JANUARY SO HERE’S THE SECOND WEEK.

 

LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST: JANUARY 9-JANUARY 15, 2019

A WEEK OF HEAVY NUMBER OF ARRESTS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY

In the 7 day period from 12:01 A.M. January 9,2019 thru to 11:59 P.M. January 15,there were at least 82 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 82, 19 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.

Another 3 Lawrence County residents was arrested in other Kentucky counties ( 1 in Pike County, 1 in Warren County, and 1 in Shelby County ).

The names and criminal charges of the latest 19 Lawrence County arrests, as well as the 3 Lawrence County residents arrested in neighboring county jurisdictions, are as the following:

 

Matthew Hammond, 44, of Louisa, was arrested on January 9, 2019, at 7:09 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/500

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tyler R. Brown, 27, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; was arrested on January 10, 2019, at 1:20 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES), 2ND OFFENSE,

• DRIVING DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE – 1ST OFFENSE (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brandie Mollette, 33, of Louisa, was taken into custody and booked on January 10, 2019, at 4:50 P.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, to serve jail time on a guilty plea:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/ SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER (2 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS PLEA).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Drake Anthony Duncan, 20, of Louisa, was arrested on January 11,2019, at 12:45 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Scott Allen Cyrus, 25, of Fort Gay, West Virginia; was arrested on January 11, 2019, at 1:03 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING NON-MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER INFLUENCE OF INTOXICANTS,

• FAILURE TO APPEAR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tommy Jude, 55, of Lomansville, Kentucky; was arrested on January 11, 2019, at 3:23 P.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kenneth Farrell le Sammons, 43, of Louisa, was taken into custody and booked on January 11, 2019, at 6:00 P.M., and on January 18, 2019, at 3:09 P.M. at the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve jail time on a guilty plea:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Billy R. Fannin, 48, of Martha, Kentucky, was taken into custody and booked on January 4, 2019, at 6:55 P.M., on January 11,2019, at 8:00 P.M., and January 19, 2019, at 12:42 A.M., at the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve jail time on a guilty plea:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

 

Hunter James Bowling, 18, of Louisa, was arrested on January 12, 2018, at 5:15 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/ DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clinton Jay Perkins, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on January 12, 2019, at 5:32 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED,

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.

 

 

 

 

 

Winfred S. Scott, 28, of Louisa, was arrested on January 13, 2019, at 2:50 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Edd Pack III, 25, of Inez, Kentucky;was arrested on January 13,2019, at 3:03 A.M.,by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• SPEEDING 23 MPH OVER LIMIT,

• NO OPERATORS-MOPED LICENSE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.

 

 

 

 

 

Bobby J. Farmer, 26, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on January 13, 2019, at 3:20 A.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

 

 

 

 

 

Richard M. Storts, 64, of Louisa, was arrested on January 13,2019, at 6:40 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES), 1ST OFFENSE,

Daniel Chapman, 25, of Louisa, was arrested on January 14, 2019, at 1:49 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

Samantha G. Maynard-Williams, 25, of Louisa, was arrested on January 14, 2019, at 9:11 A.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 1ST DEGREE, • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cassandra E. Robertson-Arthur, 49, of Louisa, was arrested on January 14, 2019, at 12:39 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Billy Ray Stone, 57, of Louisa, was arrested on January 14, 2019, at 3:04 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ROBBERY, 1ST DEGREE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anthony Wade Mullins, 51, of Louisa, was arrested on January 14, 2019, at 10:46 A.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department,and was charged with:

• INCEST – FORCIBLE COMPULSION/INCAPABLE OF CONSENT OR UNDER/ 18 YEARS OF AGE,

• PROMOTING A SEXUAL PERFORMANCE BY A MINOR (UNDER/18).

Tyler Lee Branham, 47, of Louisa, was transferred and arrested in Warren County on January 10, 2019, at 6:18 P.M., after being taken there by OTHER (UNKNOWN), and was charged with:

• ANY FELONY CHARGE NOT COVERED BY THESE CODES.

 

 

 

 

 

Jose Eduardo Ramirez-Haernandez, 29, of Louisa, was arrested in Shelby County on January 13, 2019, at 6:43 A.M., by an officer of the Shelbyville Police Department,and was charged with:

• RECKLESS DRIVING,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE,

    You need to get stories straight before you post. I don’t think a person who goes to big sandy in Paintsville driven by family could be arrested by Lawrence co sheriffs department. Lawrence co department had nothing to do with it. Billy Fannin was paying his time for his mistake from 2018 when the judge ordered him to do so.Again Lawrence county had Nothing to do with it . He was not arrested.
