PLAYER’S COMMENTS

“… We have had a decent start to the season thus far. We still have some things to work on offensively and defensively that aren’t quite there just yet. Still plenty of time to finish strong.”

“… Big game with Betsy Layne coming up next week. We are winless in District so far and we need to get that #1 seed.”

Lawrence Co. Head Coach Travis York

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… We played hard and it was nice to get back in the win column. CJ Fairchild and Alex Ratliff were big keys in the win with their energy of the bench. Cody Maynard really got hot from 3 and that always helps.”

“… Don’t really know a lot about Cross Lanes Christian but we have watched a few game films and they look pretty tough. Betsy Layne is a big district game and will go a long way in deciding our seeding for the District tournament which we host this year.”
