Flossie Raines, 78, of Fallsburg, KY passed away Saturday December 8, 2018 following a long illness.

Born on November 23rd in Martin County to the late Martin Smith and Gertrude (Moore) Smith, she was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Ray Slone, one brother and three sisters.

Flossie is survived by one daughter, Joanne Spence of Inez, KY, two sons, Martin David Slone of Columbus, OH and Rickey Lee Slone of Martin County. She is also survived by two brothers, four sisters, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Flossie lived most of her life in Martin County.

She was a homemaker until she became unable to take care of herself. She then moved to Louisa and lived the last few years of her life with her sister Josephine Kazee who took care of her.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 1pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Elder Albert King officiating.  Burial will follow in the McCoy Cemetery at Milo, KY. 

Friends may visit the family on Monday, December 10th. after 6pm at Wilson Funeral Home. 

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
