LOUISA POLICE ARRESTS BOYD COUNTY COUPLE & LOUISA MAN  WHO WAS DRIVING THEM FOR METH; OTHER CHARGES AFTER TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO BUST

On Sunday afternoon, December 9, Louisa Police Department officer patrolman Hunter James conducted a vehicle traffic stop after he observed an automobile with 3 occupants inside after the driver ran thru a stop sign.

 

After the vehicle pulled over, observing the the 3 individuals whose actions gave him a suspicious mindset of the trio, with the driver identified as being from Louisa, and the other occupants were from Boyd County.

 

After giving consent to officer James for a search of the vehicle and a search of the suspects, with the help of other officer units, it was discovered all three were in possession of methamphetamine, and also drug paraphernalia to the use the meth drugs.

 

It was also discovered that the Louisa man was driving on a suspended license; and that the female Boyd County suspect had her name with an active out of state felony fugitive warrant.

 

All 3 individuals were arrested by officer Hunter James who was named as the arresting officer in traffic stop drug case. The three suspects were identified and their individual criminal charges as the following:

 

Christopher Stamperd ( originally i.d. as Christopher Nichols ), 31, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; and was charged with: 

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), 
• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, 
•POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.

 

 

Bobbi Clay, 19, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; and was charged with: 

• FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED, 
• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE), 
* POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED                                                                                                                                                                                       *  DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

 

 

Matthew Russell, 28, of Louisa, and was charged with: 

•  DISREGARDING STOP SIGN, 
•  OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE, 
•  POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE). 
* DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS..

 

All three suspects were taken to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville shortly after 3 P.M. Sunday.

 

The case is still under investigation by the Louisa Police Department.

    No I’m not related to any of these people and never been arrested for drugs or anything BUT you prolly want to remember that teenager is someone’s family and they would appreciate the title meth head real well .. Your newspaper is a joke as it is and this is why people in this town constantly make fun , joke , and never believe anything you say .. This is so unprofessional !! Learn to write 💋💋
