Merkie Ellen Fitch Floro, 74, formerly of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.

Merkie was born July 29, 1944 in Louisa, KY to the late Elbert and Vernia (Dobbin) Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Fitch and brothers Johnny Henry Moore, Larry Moore, Elbert Ray Moore, and Doyle Moore. 

Survivors include her sons Cecil Fitch and Michael Fitch; daughters Violet (Shawn Epley) Celaya, Greta Blake, and Jerri Beth (Anthony) Gillam; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters Darlene Hicks, Judy Christian and Debbie Moore; and brothers Windell Moore, Neil Moore, Calvin Moore, Charles Moore, and Gary Moore. 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 8, 2018 at noon at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Catalpa Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home. 

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Floro.
