TOLSIA VOLLEYBALL BEATS RIVAL TUG VALLEY ON SENIOR NIGHT, POSTSEASON STARTS TONIGHT

FORT GAY, WVA. —  Tolsia Volleyball honored 10 Seniors and then went out and swept bitter rival Tug Valley 3-0 Thursday night at Rebel Arena.

Tolsia improved to 26-7-2 with the victory and will be the #1 seed in the sectional tournament at Buffalo next week.

In set number 1 Tolsia held on for a 25-23 victory in a very good set.

In the second set the Rebels jumped out to a 15-5 lead before the young Panthers fought back to take a slim lead. After a quick timeout Tolsia regained the momentum and ran off a bunch of points and closed it out 25-21.

In the third and final set Tug Valley who only plays one senior, raced out to a 14-4 advantage before Tolsia stormed back to take the set 25-22 and the match 3-0.

Tug Valley fell to 13-12 and will be the #4 seed in the upcoming sectional tournament at Buffalo.
