The event will take place at the Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium, 9 Bulldog Lane, Louisa, KY. If inclement weather occurs the event will be moved to LMS gymnasium.
The Fields of Faith is a student led event. Students invite, pray for, share with, and challenge their peers to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ. An athletic field provides a neutral, rally point where a community can come together
Since 1954 the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) has been challenging coaches and athletes at all levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Fields of Faith is a ministry outreach of FCA.
Fields of Faith gives the students an opportunity to invite their own classmates and teammates to meet on their school’s athletic field to hear fellow students share their faith testimonies, challenge them to read the Bible and to come to faith in Jesus Christ. In 2004 Fields of Faith started in only 3 States, on 23 Fields with 6,000 people. Compared to last year, that number has more than tripled to 501 Fields, and over 192,000 people.

According to Fields of Faith Spokesperson:
“Why Fields of Faith? You Can Help Change Our Culture.
It’s time to spark a spiritual movement for God. Christianity needs a change in momentum—students who will stand together against the pressures and temptations in our world and be a generation that is committed to reading the Bible and applying it to their lives.
It’s time to Get in the Game and Get in the Book!”
The FCA Lawrence County Middle and High schools will be hosting the event. Any further questions can be answered through the school, or the FCA instructors – Mrs. Chicko or Mrs. Cecil. 606-638-9676 or 606-638-4090.
