Garlene Cordle Osborne, 89, of Hilliard, OH went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2018.

Garlene was born June 1, 1929 in Adams, KY to the late Jarrett Melvin and Goldie (McDowell) Cordle. Garlene was a homemaker and loved to garden. She grew beautiful roses and was an excellent cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Paul Osborne. 

Survivors include her daughter Sherry Osborne Korbel and her siblings Gaynelle Wheeler, Doris Jean Phillips, Melvin Cordle, Freda Wells, Francine Adkins, Maxine Lewis, Ellen Fern Merz, Kenneth Elvin Cordle, and Ruth Karen Slone. 

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Unity Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the Kitchen Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service. 

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Osborne.
