Darrell Ray Robertson 

1964 — 2018

 

Darrell Ray Robertson, 54, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Darrell was born Jan. 1, 1964 at Louisa, KY, the son of Ralph Robertson and the late Wanda Spears Robertson. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by a brother Ralph Dale Robertson and two sisters Sharon Kay Lockhart and Debra Lynn Robertson.

He was a disabled truck driver who served in the United States Army and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his loving wife Roberta Hager Robertson; a daughter  Jessica Hardin and husband Joey; two sons Michael Hager and wife Denise and Anthony Robertson and wife Stephanie; His father Ralph Robertson; three sisters Bonnie Wilcoxon and husband Dean, Linda Maynard and husband Steve, and Pamela Thompson and husband Mike; ten grandchildren Brooklynn (Whyatt), Noah, Jadyn, Jacob, James, Mclean, Devon, Lacretia (Doug), Josie (Dakota) and Weston; five Great Grandchildren Oliver, Karter, Tenley, Kyah, Kylie.

He also leaves behind a extended family he loved Lisa Hager, Bridget (Bobby) James, and Rose Hager; and close friends Chris and Sharon Napier, Mack Cyrus, Kevin and Kathy Maynard.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 16 at 1:00 pm at the Oak Grove Church with Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus and Rev. Frank Copley officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held at the Robertson Cemetery on Spruce Road Fort Gay, WV following the services.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday after 6:00 pm at the Oak Grove Church.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
