LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – JUNE 9-16, 2018

From 12:01 A.M. June 9 thru to 11:59 P.M., June 16, there were at least 86 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 86 or so, just 7 of those arrested were from Lawrence County. Another 5 Lawrence County residents were arrested elsewhere: ( 4 in Martin County, and 1 in Boyd County ).

The names and criminal charges of the latest 7 Lawrence County arrests (and the 5 out of county arrests) are the following:

 

Elizabeth PolstonElizabeth Polston, 29, of Campton, Kentucky; was arrested on June 9, 2018, at 1:53 P.M., by sergeant Ed Cordle of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lori L. HallLori L. Hall, 45, of Louisa, was arrested on June 9, 2018, at 7:57 P.M., by patrolman officer Julius Musick of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED,

• CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

William SpencerWilliam Spencer, 25, of Inez, Kentucky; was arrested on June 10, 2018, at 1:34 A.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE,

• HARASSMENT ( NO PHYSICAL CONTACT) .

 

 

 

 

 

Christopher SammonsChristopher Sammons, 36, of Louisa, was arrested on June 13, 2018, at 3:25 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).

 

 

 

 

 

 

William J. McCoyWilliam J. McCoy, 46, of Louisa, was arrested on June 13, 2018, at 6:30 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• TRAFFICKING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE-(> OR=10 D.U. DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER, 1ST DEGREE,

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$10,000,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE).

 

 

 

 

 

Lacy James HallLacy James Hall, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on June 14, 2018, at 5:51 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

CHARGES UNKNOWN.

 

 

 

 

 

Monica ParksMonica Parks, 32, of Louisa, was arrested on June 16, 2018, at 5:02 P.M., by an officer of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

David Eugene WhittDavid Eugene Whitt, 41, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on June 12, 2018, at 4:56 P.M., by deputy Billy Patrick of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON.

 

 

 

 

 

Tina N. BlackburnTina N. Blackburn, 32, of Louisa, was taken into custody in Boyd County on June 13, 2018, at 3:09 P.M., by a deputy of the Boyd County Sheriff Department, and pled guilty to:

*  POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN), and was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Justin E. MarcumJustin E. Marcum, 31, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on June 13, 2018 at 4:02 P.M. by officer Ward of the Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole, and was charged with:

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jack HornJack Horn, 59, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on June 13, 2018, at 8:31 P.M., by deputy Jamey Todd of the Martin County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUB NOT PROPER CONTAIN 1ST OFFENSE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (-DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ryan Chad HayesRyan Chad Hayes, 31, of Louisa, was arrested in Martin County on June 15, 2018, at 5:55 P.M., by trooper Ryan Hale of the Kentucky State Police-Post #9-Pikeville, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY),

• TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
