Patrons do not have to be located in rural areas of the county to be eligible…
The Lawrence County Public Library is now offering Homebound Services to Lawrence County residents who have an ongoing physical condition that prevents them from leaving their residence to visit the library.
This service differs from bookmobile service in that patrons do not have to be located in rural areas of the county to be eligible. Patrons may live in any part of the county including within city limits.
The service also serves the local nursing home and senior center.
Patrons who receive this service have access to books, movies, audio books, magazines, ebooks, digital services, and more.
