Arthur Coffey 

1930 — 2018

Arthur Coffey, age 88, of Hanover Township, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Fort Hamilton Hospital.

He was born on February 28, 1930, in Lawrence County, Kentucky the son of Arthur C. and Belva (Johnson) Coffey. On April 12, 1954, he married Marian Engel and together they raised seven children. Arthur worked for Roadway Express as a truck driver for many years and was a member of Teamsters Local #100.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marian Coffey; seven children, Denis (Kelly) Coffey, Leonard Coffey, Ken (Peggy) Coffey, Nancy (Alan) Lakamp, Gregory (Peggy) Coffey, Gary (Belinda) Coffey, and Chris (Tammy) Coffey; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, two sisters, Marie Boyatt and Arlene McFarland; paternal siblings, Kathy Hawes, Lillie Vinson, Edford Coffey and Rachael Hackler; and many other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty Moorman, Jean Pectol, and Ethel Mae Coffey; three brothers, Willard, Wilbur, and Willis Coffey; and one grandson, Steven Coffey.

Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, Ohio on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery in Ross, Ohio.
