A slow month Lawrence County Grand Jury, desperately needed after the BSRDC has been packed with people for several months now. In indictments, Cyrus decided to assault a witness in his previous case, now faced with several more charges.
Hansel Ray Wiley, 48 of Louisa, indicted om Bailjumping, 1st degree (class D felony)
The Grand Jury charges that on April 13, 2018 the defendant knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court, with or without bail, upon the condition that he would subsequently appear at a specific time and place in connection with the felony charge of criminal possession of a forged instrument, the defendant failed to do so.
Gregory Witham, Jr. of Louisa indicted on Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (class D felony)
The Grand Jury charges that on or before January 29, 2018 the defendant knowingly and unlawfully possessed a controlled substance.

Gregory Witham Jr. also indicted on 2 counts of Receiving Stolen Property Complicity Receiving under $10,000.
The Grand Jury charges that on or before January 27, 2018 the defendant acting alone or in complicity with William Cantrell knowingly and unlawfully Possessed a 1992 Honda ATV stolen from Mr. Denzil Hall of Louisa, KY. with a value of $1,490. The defendant acting alone or in complicity with William Cantrell knowingly and unlawfully possessed a 1990 Honda ATV stolen from Mr. Denzil Hall of Louisa with a value of $1,375.

The Grand Jury charges that on or before January 27, 2018 the defendant acting alone or in complicity with Gregory Witham Jr. knowingly and unlawfully Possessed a 1992 Honda ATV stolen from Mr. Denzil Hall of Louisa, KY. with a value of $1,490. The defendant acting alone or in complicity with Gregory Witham Jr. knowingly and unlawfully possessed a 1990 Honda ATV stolen from Mr. Denzil Hall of Louisa with a value of $1,375. The defendant having been charged with this felony and having more than two prior felonies is now being charged with Persistent Felony Offender.

William Cantrell is also indicted on Possession of a Handgun (class C felony), Possession Of A Controlled Substance, 1st degree, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Disregarding Stop Sign and Persistent Felony Offender, 1st degree.
The Grand Jury Charges that on or before January 29, 2018 the defendant knowingly and unlawfully possessed a Beretta .22 caliber handgun after previously being convicted of a felony. The defendant knowingly and unlawfully possess a controlled substance namely, methamphetamine. The defendant knowingly and unlawfully destroyed, removed, altered, or concealed physical evidence, namely a Beretta .22 caliber handgun that he believed would be used against him in an official proceeding. The defendant disregarded a stop sign as Dooley posted while operating a motor vehicle on the roadways of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Having been charged with at least two prior felonies the defendant is now being charged with Persistent Felony Offender.
Joshua Cyrus, 43 of Louisa, indicted on Assault, 2nd degree (class C felony) and Intimidating a Participant In The Legal Process (class D felony).
The Grand Jury charges that on or before January 12th 2018 the defendant knowingly and unlawfully cause the physical injury to Matthew Cordle by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument. The defendant knowingly and unlawfully using physical force or the threat of physical Force directed toward a witness or person he believes will be a participant in the legal process.
Francis David Diamond, 45 of Louisa, Ky. Indicted on Possession Of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1st offense.
The Grand Jury charges that on or before December 21, 2017 the defendant knowingly and unlawfully possessed a controlled substance along with and altered straw and a metal plate used as a cutting surface.
