Virginia R. Walters, 101, of Catlettsburg, KY died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Jordan Center in Louisa, KY.

Ms. Walters was born December 22, 1916 in Paintsville, KY to the late John and Rilda Maynard. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bear Creek United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Walters; son in law Daniel Wallace; and grandsons Wayne Walters and Matthew Walters.

Survivors include her daughter Rilda “Sue” Wallace; son and daughter in law Dennis and Martha Walters; grandchildren Daniel (LaVonna) Wallace, Michael (Carolyn) Wallace, and Lisa (Jim) Taylor; 9 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 2:00PM at Bear Creek United Methodist Church with Noah Wilks officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 from Noon until time of service at Bear Creek United Methodist Church.
