UPDATE: BJ tied for 1st entering final day
FRIDAY AFTERNOON — Louisa’s BJ Nelson won the Southern division in the 2018 TBF National Championship – Bull Shoals Lake Flippin, AR. and a minimum of $7,500 cash and it depends on how he finishes Saturday on whether he will win in all.
He also won a spot in this year’s All American in Louisiana in May where he will have an all expenses paid trip to fish for $130,000.
He also will be fishing tomorrow against 6 other anglers for the Living the Dream package valued at $100,000 that is use of a New Truck, New Wrapped Boat and all expenses paid in the FLW tour and entry fees in the “Living the Dream”package deal.
This will be won by one of the 7 boaters Saturday. The winner will also advance to the Forrest Wood Cup for a shot at winning the largest payday ever in bass fishing.
In addition BJ is fishing for a new Ranger 518 Boat against the guy he is tied with for first place and one of them will win this boat.

After Day 1 BJ Nelson, of Louisa, Ky., is tied for 3rd overall in the TBF FEDERATION NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at Bull Shoals Lake in Flippin, ARKANSAS. and in first place in his division.

First day weight 14 lbs 2 oz. BJ has a 5 lb lead over his next competitor, and tomorrow will determine if he fishes for the $120,000 package on Saturday.
