LAWRENCE COUNTY ARREST LIST – MARCH 29-APRIL 9, 2018

A total of 20 people were taken in custody in Lawrence County between March 29 thru April 9. Another 7 Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Kentucky counties ( 1 Marion County, 1 in Martin County, 1 in Lewis County, 2 in Boyd County and 3 in Johnson County).

The names and criminal charges of the latest 20 Lawrence County arrests ( and the 7 out county arrests) are the following:

 

 

John ThompsonJohn Thompson, 48, of Louisa, was arrested on March 29, 2018, at 3:40 P.M., by chief deputy Mark  Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHER $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$10,000.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kevin L. PackKevin L. Pack, 52, of Louisa, was arrested on March 29, 2018, at 8:55 P.M., by deputy Mason Keefer of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:  • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), • CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON.

 

 

 

 

 

Melissa R. Thompson ChafinMelissa R. Thompson-Chafin, 41, of Louisa, was arrested on March 29, 2018, at 9:03 P.M. by deputy Mason Keefer of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT, • BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE, • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION POCKETPICKING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

Kimberly A. MullinsKimberly A. Mullins, 44, of Staffordsville, Kentucky; was arrested on March 29, 2018, at 9:07 P.M., by Constable Paul Wells of the Lawrence County Constable-District, and was charged with: • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Justin W. HarlessJustin W. Harless, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on March 29, 2018, at 9:10 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence Co. Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON., • MANUFACTURE METHAMPHETAMINE 1ST DEGREE,, • PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

 

 

 

 

 

Jason M. SkaggsJason M. Skaggs, 46, of Louisa, was arrested on March 30, 2018, at 7:14 P.M., by patrolman officer Shane James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION UNDER/$500,  • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED, • PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT IN PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE.

  

 

 

 

 

 

William Jason DillionWilliam J. Dillion, 38, of Louisa, was arrested on March 30, 2018, at 8:14 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence Co. Sheriff Dept., and was charged with: • VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO, • FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT, • FUGITIVE FROM ANOTHER STATE – WARRANT REQUIRED.

William Jason Dillion was transferred to the Boyd County Detention Center on April 4, 2018, at 2:45 P.M., and was facing the charge of: • FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT.

 

 

 

 

 

Joseph A. WarrixJoseph A. Warrix, 28, of Louisa, was arrested on March 31, 2018, at 10:08 P.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY, • BURGLARY, 3RD DEGREE  ( 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ), • PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER I ( 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS ).

 

 

 

 

 

Corey Dustin SkaggsCorey Dustin Skaggs, 35, of Louisa, Kentucky, was taken into custody and booked on April 4, 2018, at 7:45 A.M., in the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

 

 

 

 

 

Dale LudwigDale Ludwig, 58,of Emporiun, Ky; was arrested on April 2, 2018, at 12:48 A.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/ DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • LEAVING SCENE OF ACCIDENT-FAILURE TO RENDER AID OR ASSISTANCE, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD.

 

 

 

 

 

Donald SandersDonald Sanders, 36, of Blaine, Ky; was arrested on March 29, 2018, at 8:19 P.M., by Constable Paul Wells of the Lawrence County Constable-District, and was charged with: • RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY UNDER/$10,000.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wendell GibbsWendell Gibbs, 68, of Louisa, was arrested on April 3, 2018, at 1:32 P.M., by Chief Greg Fugitt of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Joey MillsJoey Mills, 65, of Louisa, Ky,  was taken into custody and booked on April 4, 2018, at 9:48 A.M., in the Lawrence County Court, by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, to serve a guilty plea jail sentence: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.

Richard SmithRichard Smith, 33, of Louisa, was arrested on April  7, 2018, at 4:26 A.M., by a trooper of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with:  • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE, • CARELESS DRIVING.
