Scott Michael Donahoe

1986 — 2018

Scott Michael Donahoe, 32, of Louisa, KY went to be with his Lord and Savior February 14, 2018.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Jimmie Donahoe, a special friend “Bucky” Reed, and an uncle Mark McComas.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Kristina (Salyers) Donahoe of Louisa, two sons who adored him Gunnar Scott and Griffey Kristopher, and his loving parents Tim and Sandy (Callicoat) Donahoe of Huntington and in laws Linda and Kenny Salyers of Louisa. He is also survived by a grandmother Betty Dillon, grandmother Jean (Adkins) Callicoat, a grandfather Bobby Callicoat and grandmother Peg Callicoat. He was blessed with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Scott worked in sales and was attending Marshall University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He graduated from Spring Valley High School in 2003 with honors. He was full of life and would light up any room he entered. He loved Marshall sports, especially football and attended as many games as possible. He had an amazing heart for people with special needs and volunteered for Special Olympics for 10 years as well as served as a caregiver. Scott was a Bengals and Reds fan. He loved fishing both freshwater and deep sea for salmon, trout, white marlin and blue marlin in WV, NY and the Outer Banks. He had a passion for cooking and trying new recipes. Most of all, Scott loved his family and spending time with them. Being a Daddy was his dream come true. Scott loved the Lord and attended church at First Baptist Church of Kenova.

Scott left a lasting impression on us and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
