LAWRENCE CO. CIRCUIT DOCKET FOR FRIDAY JAN. 26TH
While Tri-State Clinic, LLC. still faces fraud charges, along with operators Kevin and Janice Gauze, Dr. Alfred Baldera has been cleared of all charges and is hereby granted expungement, which is all charges taken off of his record.
Meth still dominated the charges as heroin begins to trickle in our community from larger cities.

Joseph Bentley, 37 was arraigned on Bail jumping, 1st degree, bond to remain the same and Pretrial set for 2/23/18. Defendant is already incarcerated.
Percilla Boggs, 31 was present on two cases for a MOTION TO SUSPEND FURTHER EXECUTION OF SENTENCE. Motion on both cases were denied.
Barrett Branham, 33 was on the docket for a Motion for PROBATION REVOCATION HEARING. The defendant was not present and a bench warrant to be issued.

FIVE YEARS SUPERVISED PROBATION with all cases concurrent but consecutive to Boyd County case. The charges of expired Kentucky registration, failure to wear seat belts and possession of an open alcohol beverage in a motor vehicle were all dismissed.
Brandon Burchett, 26 was arraigned on 1st degree POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE/COCAINE, FIRST OFFENSE.
Pre-trial set for 2/23/18. Defendant to remain on bond.
Sierra Caudill, 32 was arraigned on PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER, 1ST DEGREE, CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A FORGED INSTRUMENT 2ND DEGREE, AND THEFT BY DECEPTION/INCLUDE COLD CHECKS UNDER $10,000. The defendant remains incarcerated, defendant has retained Attorney Michael Curtis and bond remains the same. Pre-trial set for 2/23/18.
Gary Haven Mills Cochran, 50 was sentenced to 1 year for THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OVER $500 BUT UNDER $10,000. Case to run concurrent with other cases. PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER, 1st degree was dismissed.
On a separate case: The defendant was sentenced to 3 years for COMPLICITY THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING $500 OR MORE BUT UNDER $10,000 AND PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER 1ST DEGREE ENHANCED TO 10 YEARS (probation supervised over 5 years). Defendant to serve 365 days in jail, all cases to run concurrent.
Separate case: Gary Cochran Mills, 50 sentenced to 12 months for COMPLICITY 1ST degree POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE DRUG UNSPECIFIED, 1st OFFENSE, 12 MONTHS FOR COMPLICITY POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE, 90 DAYS FOR COMPLICITY POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, 12 MONTHS CONCURRENT TO ALL OTHER CASES FOR COMPLICITY POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
James Kirk, 33 was present for a MOTION TO REVOKE PROBATION.

Erin Evans, 47, Pled guilty to a misdemeanor, criminal possession of a forged instrument, was sentenced to pay restitution of $75.00.
Melissa Frazier-Allen, 37 was arraigned on FRAUDULENT USE OF ID CARD OF ELECTRONIC CODE FOR BENEFITS.

Janice Gauze, 47 was present on COMPLICITY AND UNAUTHORIZED PROCUREMENT OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE and COMPLICITY PRESENT FRAUDULENT CLAIMS TO DEFRAUD KMAP.
The judge agreed to an order to reset for rearrangement on 2/9/18 and continued trial.
Kevin Gauze, 48 was present on charges of 2 COUNTS OF COMPLICITY PRESENT FRAUDULENT CLAIMS TO DEFRAUD KMAP, COMPLICITY FORGERY OF A PRESCRIPTION, COMPLICITY TO DISPENSE / PRESCRIBE /ADMINISTER A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, COMPLICITY WRONGFULLY FILLING PRESCRIPTIONS AND COMPLICITY AND AUTHORIZE PROCUREMENT OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.
