Roy Thompson

1940 — 2018

Roy Thompson, 77, formerly of Fort Gay, WV passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Three Rivers Medical Center. 

Mr. Thompson was born August 17, 1940 in Wayne County, WV to the late John Henry and Jessie (O’Brien) Thompson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Thompson and one sister, Thelma Osborne.

He is survived by Delcie Mills and Elva Kirk, both of Louisa, KY and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11am at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Ray Cyrus officiating.  Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery at Fort Gay. 

Friends may visit the family from 9 am until the time of services on Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home.
