Louisa, Ky. — The Lady Dawgs have won three in a row and moved to 10-3 on the year after a convincing 70-43 victory over Tug Valley ( W.Va. ) on Wednesday night in Naugatuck.

Kassidy Cavins chipped in with 10 points in a District victory over Betsy Layne.

Lawrence Co. 54 Betsy Layne 41 (Friday)

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-0 in 58th District action with stifling defense against the Lady Bobcats.

Lawrence Co. placed four in double figures led by Kendra Spaulding with 13 points, Lexie Ratliff and Hannah Rucker tallied 11 points each, Kassidy Cavins finished with 10 points, Sheree Hay had 4 points, Kelly Davis 3 points and Chelsey Fields 2 points.

Davis had 8 boards to lead in that category, Spaulding and Ratliff had 7 rebounds each.

 

Lawrence Co. 43 Greenup Co. 38 (Tuesday)

The Lady Dawgs hit the road and came away with a victory in a low scoring affair against the Lady Musketeers.

Lawrence Co. will return to action on Saturday evening when they travel to former district rival Pike Co. Central at 5:30. They will host former district rival Phelps on Monday at 7:30 then hit the road for a Girl/Boy doubleheader at Prestonsburg on Tuesday night.
