Daryl “Tarp” Hensley 

1978 — 2017

Daryl “Tarp” Hensley 39 of Adams, KY passed away Dec. 18, 2017 at his home following a brief illness.

Daryl was born Nov. 16, 1978 at Adams, KY the son of Linda Alley Hensley and the late William “Bill” Hensley. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lorenzo “Doc” and Miranda “Minnie” Hensley and his maternal grandparents Sim and Ruby Alley. He was a Argus Energy employee.

Survivors include his loving mother Linda Alley Hensley; a son Levi Christian Hensley of Boyd County; six sisters Sonia Fitzgerald of Louisa, Lori (Daniel) Short of Cannonsburg, KY, Drema Hensley and fiancé Jim McDowell also of Louisa, Sheila (Charlie) Hall of Boyd County, Aleishia Hensley and fiancé William Vanhoose of Inez, KY, and Shauna (Thomas) Pack of Louisa; two brothers Shane (Misti) Hensley of Louisa and Jason (Melinda) Butcher of Adams, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday Dec. 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Copley officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball Cemetery at Adams, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
