McKenzie gets probation and chance to wipe record clean in felony criminal mischief case

Nicholas Ballou was in court to face murder charges of killing his two month old infant son Landyn in 2013. Ballou was already spending time in prison for two counts of criminal abuse. Landyn survived the beating but died from his injuries last year.

Also, David McKenzie, a former Louisa city council member was sentenced to probation with a pretrial diversion, which insures that if he completes his probation, his record will be wiped clean of these charges. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid as well as criminal mischief.

BlankenshipMichael Blankenship, 45 was sentenced on several charges, 2 ½ years (on both counts) of Trafficking In A Controlled Substance Within 1000 Feet Of A School, Tampering With Physical Evidence Was Dismissed, Persistent Felony Offender was dismissed, 12 months For Unlawful Transaction With A Minor 3rd degree, 12 Months For Receiving Stolen Property Under $500 And 12 Months For Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia Concurrent and Defendant To Forfeit Items Seized.

Justin MaxieJustin Maxie, 36 was sentenced to 2 years for Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree and 12 months concurrent with supervised probation with a Pretrial diversion and to complete rehab.

McKenzieDavid McKenzie, 55, Pled guilty and will be final sentenced on Criminal Mischief, 1st degree and will receive 1 year, the defendant will receive 12 months probation over two years with a pretrial diversion and no contact with victim with other conditions for Leaving The Scene Of An Accident/Failure To Render Aid Or Assistance.
