TOLSIA REBELS WIN WAYNE CO. YOUTH FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Wayne, W. Va. After the debacle at the end of the year in the Tri State youth football league. The five Wayne Co. teams decided it was best for each of them to part ways and play their own version of the Turf Bowl.

After a few weeks of playoffs It all came down to Championship Sunday.

Tolsia had two teams playing for titles on Sunday afternoon at Wayne high school and the Rebels came away with one victory.

Tolsia 16 Wayne 6 ( B Team )

The Rebels finished off a 10-1 season with victory over the Pioneers in a hard fought game. Jacob Litton scored from 40 yards out, Peyton Watts had a 72 yard scamper and Bray Mollette added both 2 point conversion runs to lead the Rebels to the championship.

Buffalo 30 Tolsia 0 ( C Team )

Buffalo completed a great run this season with a shutout of the Rebels in the title game. Colton Heck caught a 10 yard pass from Logan Harris and then hauled in the 2 point conversion pass as well. Cody Pitts had a 25 yard TD run, Colton Caldwell had a 5 yard TD run and Harris dashed in from 50 yards out to pace the Bison to the title.
