Road work closes Ky 3 near Louisa tomorrow

LAWRENCE COUNTY (November 7, 2017) – Work to replace a cross drain on KY 3 south of Louisa (mile point 10.2) is planned for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 8, according to District 12 Superintendent Todd Moran.

Todd Moran Moran said the drain is old and falling in and must be replaced. In order to allow school and work traffic through the work zone with no delays, work will start after 8:30 in the morning and should be finished by 2:45 tomorrow afternoon.

If there is an emergency while the road is closed at the work site, traffic can use Donithon Road and KY 1690.

“We appreciate everyone’s patience with us during this repair work,” Moran said.
