ARRESTS DOWN BY HALF THEIR WEEKLY AVERAGE IN BOTH LAWRENCE COUNTY AND THE NEIGHBORING COUNTIES THAT USE THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE.
SEVEN PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED IN LAWRENCE COUNTY; ANOTHER 4 LOUISA RESIDENTS IN KENTUCKY COUNTIES ( 2 IN BOYD COUNTY, ONE IN POWELL COUNTY, AND ONE IN LINCOLN COUNTY).
Michael L. Maynard, 36, of Louisa, was arrested on October 25, 2017, at 12:05 A.M., by trooper Bryan Layne of the Kentucky State Police, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR.
Sherry Bowen, 31, of Louisa, was arrested on October 26, 2017, at 7:01 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE, (METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
Mason Master, 21, of Louisa, was arrested on October 27, 2017, at 12:50 A.M., by deputy Dwayne Bowen of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Amy Chandler, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on October 27, 2017, at 1:57 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL), • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.
Joey L. Thomas, 31, of Louisa, was arrested on October 28, 2017, at 1:23 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (COCAINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS, • PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).
James D. Keaton, 29, of Webbville, Kentucky; was arrested on October 29, 2017, at 11:17 P.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO.
Samantha McDowell, 27, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on October 29, 2017, at 11:24 P.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • VIOLATION OF A KENTUCKY EPO/DVO.
Thomas J. Bentley, 33, of Louisa, was arrested in Boyd County on October 25, 2017, at 12:25 A.M., and was charged with: • FAILURE TO APPEAR – BOND: $750, • FAILURE TO APPEAR – BOND: $588, • FAILURE TO APPEAR BOND: – $74, • FAILURE TO APPEAR – BOND: $500, • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS UNDER/ $500 – BOND: $1,000 • THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION SHOPLIFTING UNDER/$500 – BOND: $1,000, • POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS. Keith A. Penix, 26, of Louisa, was booked in Powell County, Ky. on October 25, 2017, at 11:24 A.M., after being taken there by Sheriff Garrett Roberts of the Lawrence County Department, where Keith Penix was jailed as a state inmate.
Ashley R. Arms, 19, of Louisa, was arrested in Boyd County on October 28, 2017, at 12:46 A.M., by an officer of the Ashland Police Department and was charged with: • NON PAYMENT OF FINES.
