Virginia Jane Wilks

1948 — 2017

Virginia Jane Wilks, 69, of Louisa passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home in Louisa.

Mrs. Wilks was born September 18, 1948 in Louisa, KY to the late Stanley and Nancy Jane (Sparks) Chaffin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Wilks, four brothers, Noah, Freddie, William, and Randy Chaffin, and two sisters, Mary Wilks and Freda May.

She is survived by two sons: James Daniel Wilks of Raleigh, NC and Stanley Michael Wilks of Louisa, KY, three brothers, Frank, Owen, and Tracy Chaffin, four sisters, Lena Nelson, Reba Jobe, Lois Chaffin, and Linda Moore.  She also has five grandchildren, Zachary Michael, Jacob Alexander, Gabriel Kenneth, Flint Daniel, and Garrett Christian Wilks. Mrs. Wilks was retired from Weldon Technology.

The funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11am at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Osburne officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop Cemetery at Webbville.

Friends may visit the family from 9am until the time of services on Saturday.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
