FORT GAY, W. VA. — Tolsia ( 2-5 ) broke a four game losing streak in a big way on Homecoming night with a 48-36 victory over #8 Mt. View ( 4-3 ) on Friday night at Wilts Salmons Field.

Jonathan JohnsonJonathan Johnson had 168 yards on the ground and 2 TD’s one from 9 yards out and one from 20 yards out. 

Jared Switzer had 111 yards and a 32 yard TD, Wayne Williamson had 93 yards rushing with a 5 yard TD and 44 yards passing, plus a two point conversion pass, Steven Vanhoose finished with 24 yards and a 2 yard TD run, plus a two point conversion catch, Paskell Doss had 4 yards rushing.

Austin Gauze returned the opening kickoff of the third quarter for an exciting 62 yard touchdown for the Rebels.

Peyton Watts had 1 catch for 40 yards and Vanhoose had 1 catch for 4 yards.

Eric Williams kicked 4 extra points for the Rebels.

Tolsia 6 21 14 7 – 48

Tolsia will travel to Tyler Consolidated ( 3-3 ) next Friday night.

Mt. View will host Tug Valley next Friday night.
