The Louisa Chapter of DAR held their September meeting on the 26th at 6:00 pm in the Cafe of the Louisa FBC. Meeting was called to order by Regent Sabrina May. Opening Rituals were read and minutes from last meeting were approved.
There was a very good turnout and a lot of information and future projects were discussed. Hostesses for the night were Patty Ferrell and Peggy Nelson and everyone enjoyed their cold cut sandwiches and desserts.
DAR members met last Thursday to bake Apple Pies for the booth at the Heritage Harvest Tour. (Thanks to Louisa Freewill Baptist for the use of their Kitchen).
The DAR had a very successful day at the Kentucky Roots location selling baked goods, calendars, and an assortment of books that have been published by the Louisa chapter.
The next meeting will be October 24, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Cafe of Louisa FBC.
