Lost Creek, W. Va. — South Harrison ( 5-0 ) and ranked #4 in Class A wasn’t very welcoming to Tolsia ( 1-4 ) on Friday night with a 50-14 victory over the Rebels.

The Hawks jumped out to a 21-0 lead after one period and never looked back. Tolsia QB Wayne Williamson hit Jonathon Johnson for a 55 yard touchdown and then hit Jared Switzer with a pass for the two point play to make it 27-8 at Halftime.

Williamson hit Paskell Doss who made a great over the shoulder catch for a 62 yard touchdown in the second half.

Tolsia will host #8 Mount View ( 4-2 ) for Homecoming next Friday night.

South Harrison will travel to Tygarts Valley ( 1-4 ) on Thursday night.

Tolsia Asst. Coach Nick Crum

COACH’S COMMENT

“… They had a pretty good football team. We got off to a slow start and could never recover. The Canary kid is one of the best backs in the state and we had a hard time tackling him in space. I thought our kids played hard and never quit and we are ready to try to bounce back and get a win over a good Mt. View team for Homecoming. By far the best team we played all year. They had two stud running backs.”
