Another Friday is upon us and the weather looks good after rain the last three days as the Dawgs will travel to Greenup Co. and the Rebels will host Westside from Wyoming Co.

LC @ GREENUP CO

Lawrence 3-1 coming in on a three game winning streak after a homecoming victory over Powell Co. 57-34 last Friday night. The Bulldogs will hit the road tonight to face a Musketeer team coming off a 24-0 defeat vs Raceland.

Greenup Co. 2-2 on the year and Lawrence Co. has become a nice little rivalry as the teams have split the last two meetings with both teams winning road games. Lawrence Co. QB Noah West has been putting up video game numbers so far this season as he leads the state in rushing with 937 yards and and has found the end zone 15 times. The line has been playing well lately and it will have to continue for the Bulldogs to come away with a victory tonight. The defense will be counted on to force some turnovers and gang tackle.

Players to watch on offense include fullback #30 Ashton Blankenship and on defense #53 Tanner Rasnake.

Tolsia vs. Westside

Tolsia 1-2 will play at home for the second time this season as they host Westside 2-1 who beat Man 25-0 last Friday. The Rebels lost at Lincoln Co. 33-26 last week as they continue to turn the ball over with four more last week. It’s been a bug – a – boo all year and something that can’t keep happening if the Rebs are to win games.

Jared Switzer has been a pleasant surprise at the running back spot after not playing for the last two years. Defensively the Rebels haven’t been too bad but need the corners to step up tonight as the Renegades will put the ball in the air.

Players to watch for on offense is #25 Jonathon Johnson and on defense is #55 Mason Mann.
