SoccetDawgs Head Coach Kyle Snaitecki

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Year in and year out we have pride, we are the top team in our district so we always play a tough schedule outside of that. Lost at Cabell Midland which is really good and I thought we played well for the most part. We held our own and really competed and it was good to see that type of competition no one likes to lose but it was OK in the end. The next Thursday we shut out a good Hurricane team 2-0 at our place. We tied Ashland 2-2 but didn’t play very well until the second half and were able to tie it up. Also tied a good Prestonsburg team 0-0. We play Russell and Johnson Central the last week before District and I purposely did that to see what we are made of. It may backfire if we lose some confidence going into postseason but I don’t expect to lose those games.”

“… Beat a good Rowan Co. team on Tuesday night who just suffered their first loss of the season last week. We got off to a slow start but really found our rhythm once we found the net we really got going. In the second half we got a little complacent we didn’t get home from Shelby Valley until around midnight the night before was tough, but overall a really good win.”
