Kimble Copley

1931 — 2017

Kimble Copley, 86, of Fort Gay, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

Kimble was born March 28, 1931 in Webb, WV a son of the late Arvel and Gladys Sammons Copley. Kimble was a retired machine operator for Norfork and Southern Railroad. He was a member of the Fort Gay Freewill Baptist Church where pastored for several years, Kimble was also a member of the Vinson Lodge #66 AF&AM, Fort Gay, WV.

Survivors include his loving wife, Alberta E. Napier “Vicy” Copley of Fort Gay, WV; children, Janet (David) Sams of Parkersburg, WV; Larry Joe (Rhonda) Copley of Fort Gay, WV; Linda Joyce (Michael) Taylor of Fort Gay, WV; Allen (Trena) Copley of Fort Gay, WV; Richie (Carla) Copley of Louisa, Ky.; brothers, Lewis (Janey) Copley of Bucyrus, Ohio; Herman (Gaye) Copley of Mansfield, Ohio; Don (Beverly) Copley of Ohio; Daniel (Bonnie) Copley of Grayson, Ky.; Kenny Copley of Ohio; sisters, Helen Richie of Crown City, Ohio; Thelma Garling of Florida; Della Werner of Ohio; Evie Wilson of Florida; Lillie (Don) Johnston of Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Meddings and Ronnie Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at the Copley Cemetery in Webb, WV.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel.
