IN THE FIRST NINE DAYS OF AUGUST, THERE WERE 168 ARREST OFFENDERS BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE. 134 OF THOSE HAVE BEEN SINCE AUGUST 3, INCLUDING A WHOPPING 42 BOOKINGS ON FRIDAY AUGUST 4.

HOWEVER, OUT THOSE 168 ARRESTS THIS MONTH, ONLY 14 ARE FROM LAWRENCE COUNTY. THERE WAS ONLY 11 SINCE AUGUST 3. AND ON FRIDAY AUGUST 4, ONLY 2 OF THOSE 42 ARRESTS.

AND AFTER AUGUST 4, THERE WERE NO ARRESTS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY UNTIL TUESDAY AUGUST 8.

ALSO, THERE WERE ANOTHER 7 LAWRENCE COUNTY RESIDENTS ARRESTED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTIES ( 3 IN MARTIN COUNTY, 2 IN BOYD COUNTY, 1 IN CARTER COUNTY, AND 1 IN JOHNSON COUNTY.) AN 8th LAWRENCE RESIDENT WAS TRANSFERRED TO PIKE COUNTY

Laney, 56, of Louisa, was arrested on August 3, 2017, at 9:52 P.M., by patrolman officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS, • NO REGISTRATION PLATES, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT, • DISPLAY OF ILLEGAL/ALTERED REGISTRATION PLATE, • FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE, • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATOR LICENSE, • OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATED CIRCUMSTANCE) 4TH OR > OFFENSE, • POSSESSING LICENSE WHEN PRIVILEGES ARE REVOKED, • FAILURE TO SURRENDER REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE, • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE, • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christina MooreChristina Moore, 30, of Lomansville, Kentucky; was arrested on August 4, 2017, at 2:22 P.M., by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • MANUFACTURING METHAMPHETAMINE, 1ST OFFENSE.

 

 

 

 

Virginia WayVirginia Way, 74, of Louisa, was arrested on August 4, 2017, at 2:26 P.M., by sergeant Chuck Jackson of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATOR LICENSE, • FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE, • FAILURE TO NOTIFY ADDRESS CHANGE TO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, • FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE.

 

 

 

 

 

Joshua DiamondJoshua Diamond, 35, of Louisa, was arrested on August 8, 2017, at 12:23 A.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joseph C. DiamondJoseph C. Diamond, 54, of Louisa, was arrested on August 8, 2017, at 11:11 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • CHARGES UNKNOWN.

Joseph C. Diamond was later taken from custody at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center by deputy Dustin Akers of the Pike County Sheriff Department, where he was taken to the Pike County Detention Center at 3:18 P.M., where was charged at with: • CONTEMPT OF COURT, and Chapman is currently being held on a $1,000 full cash bond.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dustin L. ShookDustin L. Shook, 36, of Blaine, Ky. – was arrested on August 8, 2017, at 11:11 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • THEFT BY DECEPTION-INCLUDE COLD CHECKS UNDER/$500.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hiram RobinetteHiram Robinette, 68, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on August 8, 2017, at 8:22 P.M., by deputy Mack Wilhite of the Lawrence County Sheriff Department, and was charged with: • NO REGISTRATION PLATES, • FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE, • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, • NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT.
