FRANKFORT, Ky. — ( EKB-TV) The Kentucky Office for Employment and Training has received a WARN notice announcing impending layoffs at Booth Energy in Martin, Johnson and Floyd counties.217 positions are subject to the layoffs, which are expected to take place Sept. 30.The layoffs will take place at:1.The Matrix Mine located at 2564 Airport Road in Debord, KY 41214, which is operated by Matrix Energy, LLC (“Matrix”) and its contract miners, Beech Fork Processing, LLC (“Beech Fork”), Eagle Coal Company, LLC (“Eagle”) and Long Fork Development Company, Inc. (“Long Fork”).
2.The Eagle #25 mine located at Coppers Creek in Floyd County, Kentucky, which is operated by Eagle.
3.The Pinnacle Processing Plant located at 2578 Airport Road, Debord, KY 41214, which is operated by Pinnacle Processing, Inc. (“Pinnacle”).
4.CT trucking and CT shop operations located at 94 Enterprise Drive, Debord, KY 41214, which is operated by Coal Transport, Inc. (“CT”).
5.Collins Creek contract reclamation and other services, which are operated by Collins Creek Services, Inc., and include, without limitation: (1) operations at the CAP Shop located at 1414 River Front Road, Lovely, KY 41231, (2) operations at the Czar Shop located at 2859 Airport Road, Debord, KY 41214, (3) operations at the Beech Fork Shop located at 81 Enterprise Drive, Debord, KY 41214, and (4) the Reclamation Crew, Core Drillers and Clerical Workers located at 81 Enterprise Drive, Debord, KY 41214.
6.Marco Mine Supply facility located at 30 Enterprise Drive, Debord, KY 41214, which is operated by Marco Mine Supply, Incorporated.
